The 2023 Honda Civic Type R Completes The Quarter Mile In 13.9 Seconds

Although it is more powerful, more stylish, and more track-focused than its forerunner, the new 2023 Honda Civic Type R is not much faster in a straight line. The vehicle was recently tested by Motor Trend, and similarly to the 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition, it reached 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds.
According to the magazine's tests over a quarter of a mile, the vehicle reached a speed of 104.2 miles per hour in only 13.9 seconds. This is marginally faster than the 2017 Civic Type R's recorded time of 14.0 seconds at 102.5 mph, but slower than the Civic Type R Limited Edition by 0.2 seconds and 3.6 mph.
Thankfully, the timings of the new 2023 Honda Civic Type R are nearly identical to those of its main competitors. The Elantra N DCT, according to the magazine, can reach 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and complete the quarter mile in 13.7 seconds. Meanwhile, the 0–60 mph time of the Toyota GR Corolla was likewise evaluated and found to be 5.4 seconds.
