In several European countries, the Nissan Navara is no more available for order. However, the outgoing Navara offers significant opportunities for track performance enhancements. SB Motorsport, located in the United Kingdom, was primarily responsible for its completion, which took over two years.
The so-called Navara-R is an extensively customized truck with a wide range of performance and aesthetic enhancements, as shown below.
The exterior has a full custom body package that includes bigger wheel arches, different side skirts, bumper extenders, as well as other aerodynamic adjustments. Although there is a modern Kenwood infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster, the interior is mainly original.
The most substantial change to this Navara, however, is in the engine compartment. A modified Nissan GT-R 4.1-liter twin-turbo V6 motor with Syvecs control unit produces an astonishing 1,000 horsepower. The VR41 is the designation of this motor. It is a 3.8-liter GT-R motor that has been enlarged to 4.1 liters. A newly designed dual-clutch gearbox distributes power to all four wheels.
Also, the suspension has been fully overhauled, with KW V4 Racing Coilover Suspension and an HLS 4 hydraulic lift system replacing the original GT-R subframes. Bespoke BBS 20-inch wheels replace the standard 16-inch wheels. This Nissan Navara may be one of the world's quickest and most explosive pickup trucks. Moreover, this is the first time a GT-R engine has been installed in a Navara, according to the best sources.
