Suzuki Takes Tokyo By Storm With Fun Concepts And Special Editions

Suzuki is gearing up for the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon, and their lineup promises a mix of fun concepts and special editions. The Suzuki Fronx Sea Bass Night Game is the first concept, drawing inspiration from the concept of "night fishing in the city." Built on the same platform as the Baleno, this urban SUV adds some serious off-road flair.
The Sea Bass Night Game edition is all about adventure, with off-road tires from Yokohama Geolandar X-AT, roof-mounted LEDs, and a roof box for extra gear. The front bumper features protective bars, giving it a tougher look.
The design itself is a bold blend of black and lime green, with matching accents on the grille, bumpers, and fenders. To top it off, Suzuki has applied a more durable paint to the plastic cladding, mirror caps, and hood to give it a more rugged appearance. And, considering its name, we wouldn’t be shocked if there’s some fishing gear hidden inside.
We don’t expect any big changes under the hood. The Fronx typically comes with a 1.5-liter mild-hybrid engine, delivering 102 hp, perfect for city driving.
Suzuki will also show off the Wagon R Smile European Antique concept, a cute and quirky version of the kei car, complete with floral decals, pastel pink hues, and a vintage roof rack. Alongside this, we’ll see updated versions of the Solio and Solio Bandit, plus a new generation of the Spacia Gear.
And for fans of the Swift Sport, the ZC33S Final Edition will make its debut. This limited-edition version marks the end of the current Swift Sport’s production run, with special touches inside and out to make it stand out. The 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon runs from January 10-12 at the Makuhari Messe in Japan, and it looks like Suzuki is bringing plenty of personality to the show.
