Shaq’s Custom Lucid Air Coupe Is as Big and Bold as the Man Himself

When you’re Shaquille O’Neal and headroom is always an issue, you find creative ways to make cars work for you. His latest solution? A custom-built Lucid Air Coupe, crafted by none other than West Coast Customs. Despite the lack of details, West Coast Customs designed the build to complement his red Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
The modifications are nothing short of dramatic. West Coast Customs reimagined the Lucid Air by removing the rear doors, pushing back the B-pillar, and crafting entirely new bodywork. In order to facilitate Shaq's entry and exit, West Coast Customs installed extended doors.
A few custom touches give the car extra personality. The front grille swaps out the standard Lucid badge for one reading “Diesel,” a nod to Shaq’s nickname. Meanwhile, the wheels feature center caps adorned with the Superman logo—a symbol long associated with the basketball icon.
We still don't know the price tag, but it's safe to assume it wasn't cheap. It’s also unclear which Lucid Air variant Shaq’s custom coupe started life as. The base Pure model features 430 hp and a range of 420 miles, while the top-tier Air Sapphire rockets up to 1,234 hp with 427 miles of range. No matter the spec, Shaq’s bespoke creation is as bold and unique as the man himself.
