De Tomaso’s stunning P72 hypercar has finally reached production form after being revealed some time ago. Only 72 units will be produced globally, and each one will carry a staggering price tag of approximately €1.6 million ($1.67 million).
The first production-ready model features a bare carbon fiber body, which will soon be painted as part of its final validation process. At this stage, the P72 comes to life, blending heart-pounding performance with an artistry of craftsmanship.
Built around a hand-assembled carbon fiber chassis, the De Tomaso P72 combines classic elegance with cutting-edge engineering. The first chassis, labeled 001, doesn’t just impress on the outside—it’s just as breathtaking inside.
The interior is a masterpiece, with cream-colored leather seats and a copper-finished gear shifter that showcases a visible shifting mechanism. Meanwhile, the dashboard features six custom-designed gauges that match the copper accents, giving the cabin a jewelry-inspired aesthetic.
Under the hood, the De Tomaso P72 packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, pushing out 750 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels.
