McLaren 765LT Embraces The McChip's Stage 2 Kit And Becomes A Monstruous Rival With 925 Under The Hood

After getting a tuning made by Hennessey, the McLaren 725LT was able to deliver 1,000 horsepower. Now it's McChip-DKR's time to show off what he can do. The two-stage upgrade kit enhances its performance up to 925 horsepower.
With the retuned version of the ECU, Stage 1, the tuner was able to boost an 843 horsepower output and 890 Newton-meter of torque increasing its top speed at 208 mph (335 km/h). The ECU Stage 1 is available for $5,862 (€4,999) in Germany.
Don't ask yourself what there would be needed a Stage 2 tuning kit. Take a look at the performances it delivers - a craziness of 925 horsepower and at most 970 Newton-meter. The kit adds new downpipes to the in-house-developed software, bringing the same top speed performance as in Stage 1 kit upgrade. This time you'll pay $16,289 (€13,890) and there are no regrets for what you get. A hypercar that could deliver such performances out of the production line would cost you much more than this kit.
McChip-DKR doesn't stop here on its path to create a more powerful McLaren and is currently working on delivering higher performance values with a new ECU tune, downpipes, and new turbos. If they succeed, any of those 765 units of the produced McLaren could become their potential client.
Initially, the factory version of McLaren 765LT is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 delivering an output of 755 horsepower and 800 Newton-meter of torque. But one example delivered even more - 765 horsepower and 808 Newton-meter during a dyno run. The British car manufacturer reaches a 0-62 mph (0-100 km) in just 2.8 seconds with a 205 mph (330 km/h) top speed.
If you want more, you can upgrade it with McChip's Stage 2 Kit for a small price compared to the car's MSRP of $358,000.
