Lamborghini Egoista – the extreme egoism!

In order to celebrate 50 years of the brand's existence, the Italians at Lamborghini have created the most extravagant concept ever - the Egoista model!

If you thought that Veneno is the craziest Lamborghini ever than you were wrong. The Egoista concept proves you wrong and the main source of inspiration was the Apache helicopter.

This connection becomes obvious the moment you see the protective window that is raised in order to let the driver enter the car. This means that the car has no windows at all. And, why would it, since the driver is the only person who fits in the car. This is why the car is called Egoista.

The concept was drawn by Walter De Silva, who described his creation as "representing hedonism taken to the extreme", a car without any compromise, in one word "egoist".

More specifically, this car is dedicated to the rich people in the world who want to enjoy their car by themselves and brag about it in front of their friends - petrolists, that they have bought a helicopter for the highway.

It is true, that just like Veneno, who has an Aventador at its grounds, Egoista is not a completely new car, because it is based on the youngster of the family - Gallardo. The cockpit's hood hides a V10 of 5.2 liters, with 6 hp, with 40 more hp that a series Gallardo LP 560.

The interior is almost completely made out of leather, and the centerpiece is represented by a head-up display, just like the hunting airplanes. When it comes to getting in and out of the car, the Lamborghini craziness comes into the scene again. More exactly, the driver needs to take out the wheel and place it on the board, open the roof, and stand up on his feet. Then he must place one leg in a certain place on the left side of the cockpit and turn at 180 degrees in order to step onto the ground.

Unlike Veneno, who has reached some lucky ones, Lamborghini Egoista remains just a concept.
