Is Honda Pegasus a concept car or a rocket?

This Honda Pegasus concept car seems to have been created for a superhero! Andrus Ciprian, the already kind of famous Romanian designer, who has created such wonders as Dacia MC, Hummer HB, and Mazda RX-Z, has also created this one-seat racing car.
The designer has borrowed some details from the classical cars from the '50s, like Pontiac Firebird II. The wings, the air-management systems, and the spoilers are the best proof of it.
The car is powered by a little jet-engine, working on gas-turbine. The engine is placed in the rear of the car, helping with the pushing-force. You may actually believe that Pegasus will be decollating any time now.
The wheels of the car have special vanes that flow air and help cool down the brakes.
Nevertheless, this car will not reach production, in spite of the fun it provides. Just look at it: the classical blended together with the racing contemporary cars - what could be hotter?
