Ford Performance Adds 30 HP To EcoBoost Broncos

Ford Performance has answered the prayers of Bronco owners everywhere by releasing a line of performance upgrades. For 2021 and 2022 Broncos with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, Ford is offering a performance calibration for "just" $825.
The modification may increase power and torque to 330 horsepower and 385 pound-feet, respectively. That's 30 more horsepower and 60 more pound-feet of torque than what you get from a regular engine using premium fuel.
Sadly, you'll have to shell out extra money for premium gasoline to accommodate the performance upgrade. Ford claims that, in addition to the improved performance, the tune also features an enhanced shift schedule for cars with an automatic gearbox. Models with a manual transmission get down-shift rev-matching. Moreover, the performance tweak includes a ProCal 4 tool that can be used both to upload the new tune, as well as store the stock calibration.
