It seems that the success that Mercedes Maybach has with the luxury version alerted the Bavarians, reason from which announced that they are working on a more luxurious version of the 7 Series which will compete with Mercedes-Maybach.
The new flagship of the BMW will wear Index 9 and will be larger than the Series 7. It seems that it was previewed by the Vision Future Luxury concept introduced in April 2014 in Beijing. There is talk that the new model will be launched in 2017 and would have a longer wheelbase than the 7 Series. The car will easily pass the length of 5 meters, most likely will be the rival limits, Maybach Mercedes S class or 5, 45 m.
The future BMW Series 9 will take over the most powerful engines such as the 4.4 l twin-engine turbo or the 12-cylinder one. It is not ruled out that some versions will be equipped with four-wheel drive system, found at the Mercedes-Maybach S class.
