Rolls-Royce Phantom Dragon Is A One-Off Masterpiece For The Year Of The Dragon
by AutoExpert | 16 January, 2025
Even a car as luxurious as the Rolls-Royce Phantom can be made even more extraordinary, and that’s exactly what happened with the one-off Phantom Dragon. This customized Phantom was created for a client in China to commemorate the Year of the Dragon in 2024, making it truly unique.
The stunning Iced Diamond Black finish on the exterior gives the car an elegant, almost ethereal glow. Inside, the cabin is swathed in rich Ardent Red leather, covering the seats, dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels. The owner's family name is embroidered into the headrests in intricate ancient Chinese calligraphy, adding a deeply personal touch.
But what really steals the show is the custom dashboard, known as “The Gallery.” It’s a work of art, crafted from four different types of wood and featuring two dragons surrounded by clouds. 297 individual pieces, all put together with breathtaking precision, make up this beautiful design. The Starlight headliner above is equally mesmerizing, with an abstract dragon design in red and white and 24 shooting stars scattered across the sky.
Shuai Feng, Rolls-Royce's lead bespoke designer, shared the vision behind the creation: “Our goal for this project was to express China’s most revered symbols and the client’s personal iconography impactfully yet respectfully, while also subtly incorporating Rolls-Royce’s design handwriting.”
Sadly, the exact cost of this incredible custom Phantom is unknown.
