2025 Volkswagen Talagon Gets A Bold Refresh, Exclusive To China

The refreshed Volkswagen Talagon has been unveiled, but it remains exclusive to the Chinese market. While photos from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show off its updated exterior, there’s no glimpse of the interior just yet.
The front end has undergone noticeable changes. To start with, the daytime running lights are slightly thicker, and the full-width light bar now looks more pronounced. The upper grille has been slimmed down, while the lower grille has grown significantly, sporting bold black accents for a modern touch.
For those wanting something sportier, an R version will also be available. This variant adds an R badge to the upper grille, giving it a more aggressive vibe. It features unique silver and black wheels, along with blacked-out pillars and a contrasting black roof.
In terms of size, the updated Volkswagen Talagon is massive. Depending on the version, it measures between 5,143 mm (202.4 inches) and 5,168 mm (203.4 inches) long, 2,002 mm (78.8 inches) wide, and 1,792 mm (70.5 inches) tall, with an impressive 2,980 mm (117.3-inch) wheelbase.
Under the hood, the only confirmed engine so far is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 268 hp (200 kW). The outgoing Volkswagen Talagon also offered a 2.5-liter V6, but it’s unclear if that option will carry over.
