Kamm Reveals Ultimate Porsche 912c Targa: A Lightweight Restomod Beauty
by AutoExpert | 20 January, 2025
Hungarian company Kamm has just revealed their latest project: the Porsche 912c Targa. You probably know the 912 as a more affordable alternative to the 911. Kamm has been working on revamped 912s for a while, and their latest creation is a stunning Targa.
The Kamm 912c Targa is a lightweight vehicle that weighs less than 1,763 lbs (800 kg) due to its extensive use of carbon fiber.
Carbon makes up all the body panels, while Lexan polycarbonate crafts the rollover hoop, wing mirrors, seat backs, and windows. The custom Porsche 912c Targa is wrapped in a bold tangerine paint job, sitting on custom aluminum wheels that resemble classic steelies. It’s even got aftermarket spotlights, a carbon fiber roof rack, and a custom surfboard resting on top.
The original 1.6-liter flat-four engine, bored out to 2.0 liters, produces 185 hp and 151 lb-ft (205 Nm) of torque under the hood. The car's paired with a five-speed dogleg transmission, which offers the option of short, long, or touring gearing—so you can fine-tune the car to suit your driving style.
Each Kamm 912c Targa is completely customizable, with no limits on paint or interior options. Starting at €395,000 (~$407,000), Kamm can ship one of these bespoke beauties anywhere in the world.
