In honor of the Tune It! Safe! project in Germany, AC Schnitzer has customized a BMW i4 M50. The vehicle has several enhancements that set it apart from a standard i4.
The tuner started with the front end, installing a new front spoiler and splitter as well as some discreet canards on each side of the bumper. Additional modifications include a new, smaller spoiler mounted on top, restyled side skirts, and a carbon fiber rear wing.
These new wheels, which come in black and silver, are called AC4 Flow Forming wheels. Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 tires, sized 255/35 front and 265/35 back, help keep the EV planted on the road. The exterior was modified to feature the distinctive Polizei paint job and the typical array of sirens and lights associated with police vehicles.
Some modest changes have been made to the i4 M50's interior, like the installation of aluminum pedals, a footrest, and a cover for the i-Drive controller. The i4 M50 retains its factory standard powerplant. In case you forgot, the standard BMW i4 M50 is driven by a pair of electric motors that provide 536 horsepower and 586 lb-ft of torque.
The installation of a lowering kit that reduces the ride height by 0.7 inches up front and 0.98 inches in back was the single most effective way to improve the vehicle's performance.
