Bell Sport & Classic, a British Ferrari expert, has exhibited a fully restored Ferrari 330 GTC from 1966. It took the firm three years to get the automobile running again. This 1966 Ferrari 330 GTC just won first place at the 2022 Salon Privé Concours d'Elégance.
Over the course of two weeks, first the inside was stripped away, and then the exterior was tackled. Bell Sport & Classic then began dismantling the 330 GTC's suspension, sandblasting all critical components before refurbishing and reusing them.
This included the car's original shock absorbers, suspension arms, and springs. When it first arrived at Bell Sport & Classic, this Ferrari was painted blue. However, the car's original build documents verified that the factory paint job was a pale green hue, named "Verde Chiaro Metallizato."
All external panels of the 330 GTC were reinstalled after being resprayed in this color. O'Rourke Coachtrimmers and Suppliers took care of the interior refurbishment. The buyer requested that the black leather be replaced with Ferrari Conolly VM 218 fawn leather, which was then finished off with period-appropriate touches like carpeting and headlining in the same color and texture.
The original Colombo V12 engine in this Ferrari 330 GTC was also restored. After the rebuild, the engine was put through two days of dyno testing and the vehicle was put through 500 miles of road testing. At 7,000 rpm, the engine produces 300 horsepower.
