Electric vehicles are evolving rapidly as companies tackle challenges like high costs, slow charging, and limited infrastructure. With ongoing innovations, the future of EVs is looking brighter than ever.

Zeekr, whose newest battery can complete a full charge in just over 10 minutes, going from 10% to 80%. The business claims that upgraded batteries capable of handling 5.5C ultra-fast charging make this feasible, and the charging time is approaching that of refueling a conventional ICE-powered car.

"Optimized materials and upgraded technology" in the new lithium iron phosphate batteries allow them to charge more quickly than the current crop of nickel-cobalt-manganese batteries. It’s interesting to note that the 007 sedan will be the first vehicle to use the battery, and according to Zeekr, the improved battery management system will make sure that the "charging experience remains stable and fast even in harsh environmental conditions."

Even at temperatures as low as 14 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 degrees Celsius), the battery can achieve a full charge in just about 30 minutes. Zeekr has committed to a CLTC range of 428 miles for its next generation, and the company plans to begin shipping the devices next week. Even more, Zeekr plans to boost the automobile's range to 311 miles in just 15 minutes.

Butt warmers and a motorized reclining feature in the backseat allow the user to adjust the backrest up to 7 degrees, ensuring the best comfort.
