Would You Pay $550,000 to Drive A Jet-Powered Beetle?

Ron Patrick, a former mechanical engineering PhD student from Standard University, build a street-legal, jet-powered Beetle with a Volkswagen engine that delivers 1,350 hp.
He literally attached to the General Electric T58 turboshaft engine on the back of the 2000 Beetle mullet to complete the four-cylinder gasoline engine and automatic transmission. If you didn’t know, the T58 engine usually powers big helicopters and creates flames, and makes really bursts of acceleration.
The new Beetle has the original black-and-grey interior with the jet-engine gauges. The funny fact is that despite all the power it brings, the flames released by the jet, you will need a big Air Freshener.
