VW ID.Buzz Cargo Gets A Sporty Makeover With New Styling Package
by AutoExpert | 13 November, 2024
VW has introduced a sporty customization option for ID.Buzz Cargo buyers looking to stand out, even without opting for the GTX flagship trim. This new accessory package focuses purely on style enhancements, starting with “glass-look panels” applied over the existing body-color panels.
While they don’t add functionality, they bring a unique visual twist to the van. The real eye-catcher, though, is the Styling package. It adds a bold front splitter, side skirts, and a rear spoiler to give the ID.Buzz Cargo a more aggressive profile.
The Red Accent package builds on this, adding red details on the front bumper, mirror caps, and rear bumper guard for an extra pop of color. VW also offers customization choices like 20-inch alloy wheels, black badges, high-gloss mirror covers, and a black trim around the bumper intakes, making the Cargo look sportier than the GTX.
Inside, the carmaker offers eco-leather upholstery that’s durable and animal-friendly, giving the cabin a stylish and sustainable touch. Previously previewed, these upgrades are now officially available in the Netherlands. For versatility, these accessories are also compatible with the standard ID.Buzz model.
As for power, the ID.Buzz Cargo lineup includes three options: two single-motor rear-wheel-drive models with 168 hp and 282 hp, plus a dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant with a GTX-matching 335 hp. The full sport package costs about €5,080 ($5,400), broken down as €1,795 ($1,900) for the Styling package, €1,790 ($1,900) for the 20-inch wheels, €695 ($740) for the glass-look panels, €495 ($520) for the Red Accent package, and €305 ($320) for the black badges. The base price of Buzz Cargo in the Netherlands is €39,990 ($42,500).
