Ineos Grenadier Kaiju Turns Heads With Off-Road Upgrades
by AutoExpert | 24 December, 2024
Say hello to the Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster Kaiju—an absolute beast built for show, not sale. This one-off truck is set to roam Australia for promotional events, turning heads and kicking up dust along the way.
Ineos has partnered with leading 4x4 accessory brands such as Stedi, Norweld, Rhino-Rack, Redarc, JMACX, and BF Goodrich to equip the Kaiju, which derives its name from the Japanese word for "giant monster."
Norweld crafted a custom aluminum tray and canopy that are as rugged as they are practical. It packs a 40-liter water tank, a 47-inch trundle drawer with a drop-in table, and a tough 2-Pac paint job. Plus, there’s a 130-liter fridge and a bolt-on jerry can holder—perfect for when adventure calls.
Redarc threw in a 2000W inverter and a 150Ah lithium battery good for 5,000 cycles. JMACX added electric shocks with 16 adjustable settings, and Maxtrax supplied recovery gear for sticky situations. Meanwhile, Stedi lit things up with flood beams, spotlights, and work lights, while a 168-liter fuel tank ensures the Kaiju can go the distance.
Though you can’t buy this Ineos Grenadier Kaiju monster, most of its parts are available straight from the suppliers—and Ineos even backs many of them with a factory warranty. Ineos Automotive’s Justin Hocebar summed it up best: “The Quartermaster Kaiju is our vision of Built For More, showing just how far you can customize with the right partners—and a little imagination.”
