Future Volkswagen Cars Might Very Much Look Like This One

Volkswagen USA has showcased the results of cooperation with 30 students from San Francisco's Academy of Art University. Together, they envisioned future road options motivated by the American landscapes. They generated four concepts and a website to highlight the project's overall goals.
The Volkswagen Group of America is privileged to partner with the Academy of Art University and its bright students from all around the world. “Mobility is multidimensional and demands a dimensional design approach. This endeavor opened our eyes to new possibilities and achievements in a fully virtual classroom.”
The team created the “Orbis,” an autonomous car meant to allow working, cooperation, and a small power sleep to combat “post-arrival fatigue.” The Orbis is ideal for “business travelers striving to attain a complete work-life balance.” For those seeking adventure, the “Outreach” blurs the barriers between home and vehicle. It's a pod that sits on top of a chassis and may be altered to suit your needs.
The “Urban Cowboy” is a friend, not a vehicle. It's geared for long-distance travel with features like “Scout,” which helps identify and plan activities.
Finally, the X Hub reinvents family travel. With entertainment for parents and a kid's zone, the whole family can enjoy the ride. The students imagined Excursion Centers featuring spas, cuisine, movies, and more. This was an amazing chance for our students to learn from and alongside industry experts from the Volkswagen Group of America, according to Antonio Borja, director of the School of Industrial Design.
The VW Journey website has further details on each idea. In the end, VW chose one student from each project to receive a scholarship.
