VinFast – New Carmaker With Bold Plans
by AutoExpert | 13 July, 2021
You’ve already heard it. You’ve heard its promises. Now you see it. VinFast, the Vietnamese carmaker has officially opened up its office in the USA and is now getting ready to hit the European and North American markets.
Well, it’s not just the office in North America. VinFast has opened representatives in 5 international markets and is getting ready to cut the red bow on the Californian showrooms. Also, the carmaker’s CEO, Van Anh, has already moved to LA.
Sales are planned to take place mostly online, which will help VinFast save some serious money on the usual costs directed to maintaining official dealerships. We certainly do hope that service centers aren’t excluded, as well.
In the beginning, VinFast will sell its cars in Europe and North America. All VinFast cars are electric, with the first in the lineup being VF e35 and VF e36.
Besides that, VinFast doesn’t mind some extra cash, so it’s open to IPO or SPAC merger. The presumed sum reaches approximately USD 2 billion. Good luck, guys!
Another thing we can take as a fact about the Vietnamese car brand is that it doesn’t really like critics (we’re writing this with pure good energy, VinFast, don’t come after us). How do we know that? A few months ago, VinFast went hard after a YouTuber who made some claims about the Lux A2.0 sedan. The guy had to take out the video, as VinFast reported him to the police and sent a not-so-friendly letter to the YouTuber.
VinFast, this is America, baby. We can write whatever we think it’s true here. So give us the good cars!
