The new Mercedes-Benz GLE could be equipped with a pavement emblem projector!

You surely remember the Chinese LED projectors mounted in car's doors that projected the car's emblem on the asphalt. These "technologies" could be found at an affordable price on well-known sites like eBay!
It seems that car manufacturers liked the idea and Mercedes-Benz has now included this paid option on models such as GLE and GLE Coupe! The image projector is installed in the door mirrors and is offered bundled with electric folding function and auto-dimming.
We recall that other premium carmakers have also introduced such options on their vehicles, these include Range Rover and BMW 2 series. In the past, Mercedes-Benz has tried to lure new clients using the emblem on the radiator grille which was also illuminated.
