Celebrations are underway to honor 30 years since Land Rover introduced its Defender model to the North American market. Reminiscent of a 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 model, it's called the Defender 30th Anniversary Edition for good reason.
“The Defender 30th Anniversary Edition is a modern classic which pays homage to the heritage of 1993 Defender 110 First Edition, remarked Joe Eberhardt, President, and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America.
The first Defender 110 to be offered in North America was the 1992 model. A ladder, roof rack, a safari roll-over protection, and heated windshield were standard on the First Edition Defender 110, which was also a 500-unit run.
Restricted to 500 units, the Defender 30th Anniversary Edition is built on the Defender 110 P300 S type and is available in Fuji White. Ebony-grain leather seats juxtapose with a Cross Car Beam in White Powdercoat Brushed Finish, and 18-inch gloss white wheels.
Off-roading is no problem for the SUV, which comes packed with a slew of the original's all-terrain characteristics. An Expedition Roof Rack, Front and Rear Classic Mud Flaps, permanent side steps, a retractable ladder, rubber matting, wheel arch expansions, and an A-Frame are among the accessories included.
The Defender 30th Anniversary Edition has luxuries like the Cold Climate Pack, Tow Pack, Black Exterior Pack, and Off-Road Pack in addition to those vintage characteristics. In the United States, the 2023 Land Rover Defender 30th Anniversary Edition is available at certain dealers for $75,000.
