The Mercedes SLS AMG's replacement, called AMG GT, promises to be the most beautiful car designed by the brand specialists from Stuttgart. Unlike the current SLS, the future AMG GT will be smaller and will be able to gain even more ground in the segment dominated by the Porsche 911.
Gorden Wagener, the Mercedes-Benz chief designer, says that the lucky ones who had the opportunity to admire the future AMG GT compared it with the Jaguar E-Type in terms of beauty. Wagener believes that the model designed by the team he led has more classical elements than the Jaguar E-Type and that these will never be out of style. Sources from the German brand announce that the model will be very short and that it will have no lines on the profile. The engine will be a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo expected to deliver approximately 500 hp. The new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will be officially presented within the German Grand Prix, held in July. The current supercar from the Mercedes-Benz, AMG SLS range, will be taken out of production in March this year.
