The All-New 2025 Kia Carnival Will Have A Hybrid Option Among Other Upgrades
by AutoExpert | 30 October, 2023
Kia has offered a sneak peek at the facelifted Carnival. Set to hit the Korean market next month. This flagship minivan now adopts Kia's latest design approach and introduces a hybrid powertrain option, three years after the debut of the fourth-generation model.
The key exterior update is evident at the front, mirroring the recent facelift of the related Kia Sorento. Notable changes include vertically positioned headlights with horizontal LED strips, an enlarged tiger-nose grille, and a singular lower bumper intake.
The rear of the Carnival has also received a refresh, featuring vertical elements within the full-width taillight cluster. The redesigned tailgate shifts the license plate downward, and the new rear bumper adopts SUV-style cladding. Kia is introducing a new Gravity trim for the Carnival, boasting a distinctive grille pattern, different alloy wheels, and dark exterior accents.
Additionally, Kia is offering new wheel options, along with the inclusion of the new Ivory Silver color choice. Sadly, interior photos haven't been released, but it will likely have a curved digital cockpit with dual 12.3-inch screens found in other Kia models. The carmaker will continue to offer both 7-seater and 8-seater configurations.
Alongside traditional petrol and diesel choices, the facelift will arrive with a turbocharged 1.6-liter hybrid powertrain option. Further details on specifications, market availability, pricing in Korea, and pre-order information will be unveiled by Kia next month.
