Serious Upgrades For 2021 Dacia Duster
by AutoExpert | 22 June, 2021
There is some serious facelifting on the new 2021 Dacia Duster and the model seems to be more in line with Sandero. There are LED front indicators featured on Duster, which is a first, new aero-optimized 16- and 15-inch wheels with new wheel bearings and a brand-new design for the spoilers.
The new modifications will allegedly cut CO2 emissions by 5.8 g/km if we’re talking about the all-wheel-drive version.
As for the interior, it has gone through some changes, too, now featuring a new console in the center, new materials, and a new 8-inch touchscreen. The smartphone integration is supported and is now a standard feature.
According to Julien Ferry, Duster line-up program director, they don’t mean to drastically change Dacia Duster, just slightly upgrade it. The public seems to be providing good feedback, still, some fresh air will not hurt. All the upgrades are focused on the client’s comfort and ease of use. This is where the center console was inspired from, with several USB ports featured on certain trims, alongside the improved energy efficiency.
There is a new 6-speed automatic transmission with dual-clutch helping the petrol TCe engine. The Bi-Fuel version, popular mostly in Europe rather than the UK, will have a 50% bigger LPG tank.
Starting prices for the Duster line-up are set at GBP 12.000.
