Adolf Hitler, Germany, 1933 - 1945

It is perfectly normal, to begin with, one of the most notorious dictators of all time, Adolf Hitler. His favorite car was Mercedes-Benz 770. Hitler owned a Mercedes-Benz 320 Cabriolet D convertible from 1942, which is one of the total numbers of eight that were built for the Nazi party officials.

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran or, 1941 - 1979

The National Museum of Cars in Iran is full of cars owned by the elite that ruled the country, and most of them belonged to the last shah and his family.

Among his favorites cars, we find Rolls-Royce Phantom IV Hooper Limousine 4CS6, Lamborghini Miura S, and Type MPV Tehran which was designed by Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Volkswagen that were specially created for the Crown Prince of Iran.

Muammar Gaddafi, Libya, 1969 - 2011

When he was not busy designing his own cars, Gaddafi drove an armored BMW 7 Series and a Mercedes S-Class sedan. He also owned a golden upholstered Fiat, built especially for him, which cost him around 260,000 dollars.

Jean-Claude Duvalier, Haiti, 1971 - 1986

Jean-Claude Duvalier was part of the second generation of dictators who led Haiti. He had a special preference for old Ferrari models, such as 356 GT 2 + 2. He also had a Mercedes S-Class, which he used to escape from a riot that was about to be launched by the population.

Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina, Domenican Republic, 1930 - 1961

Rafael Trujillo ruled the Dominican Republic with an iron hand from 1930 until his assassination in 1961. He was a fan of motorsport and cars, in general. He developed a taste for Ferraris in time, the president quickly becoming a passionate fan of the Italian brand. But the car he drove in his last days of life was a Chevrolet Bell Air's image.

Kim Jong-Il, North Korea give, 1994 - 2011

Despite the lack of photographic images that demonstrate the preferences of the Chinese president, it is well known that Kim Jong-Il loved Mercedes. In 2009, Kim Jong-Il bought two Mercedes Benz S600 Pullman Guard limousines in order to replace his favorite Maybach. In that year, North Korea imported a big number of European cars, most of them having been offered as gifts to the friends, family, and relatives of the Communist Party leader.

Saddam Hussein and his sons, Iraq, 1979 - 2003

Saddam Hussein together with his sons Qusay and Uday had a weakness for luxury cars. Among them, there are some rare models of Mercedes, Ferrari Testarossa, two Porsche 911, and a Ferrari F40.

Benito Mussolini, Italy, 1925 - 1943

Mussolini was a patriot in every sense of the word. He drove an Alfa Romeo 6C 2300 Pescara Spyder, throughout the years he ruled the country.
