Since the start, the Bavarians project with the new range of electric models, the BMW i3, would be 100% eco-friendly. In its construction, the Germans were not limited to the use of recycled materials, but they provided to be further recyclables.
So, after the BMW i3 serves its master with great devotion, it ends up at the BMW Group Recycling and Dismantling Centre, where the car is partially disassembled, the batteries are disassembled, fluids drained and then the car reaches into the arms of the compactor.
As most basic components in an i3 are made of aluminum and carbon fiber, then they are reintroduced into the recycling circuit, of which then, would bear another BMW i3! Or who knows, maybe it will be an i8 in the second life!
