Renault launches a new accessible model. It is a compact crossover called KWID

The new model is built on CMF-A, developed in partnership with the people from Nissan, and adopt the forms of a compact city hatchback but with slight crossover traits, such as the protective elements from plastic or generous ground clearance of 180 mm.
Renault KWID measures no more than 3.68 meters long and only 1.58 meters in width, keeping an aspect both outside and inside, very modest, functional, and friendly. Although no official data was made public, spokesmen from Renault say that the new KWID boasts the best interior space and also the trunk in the segment to which it belongs.
Under the hood is installed a compact cylinder with a volume of 0.8-liter engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission and as a result, the future owners will enjoy exceptional fuel consumption and maximum efficiency.
Initially, the new Renault KWID will debut in the Indian market and later will reach European dealers showrooms. In the retail market in Europe, it is still unclear whether it will be sold to Renault or Dacia logo. The purchase price in India will be between 4,700 and 6,275 dollars.
