Ferrari 290 MM: An enormous amount of money! And it is not even the most expensive car in the world! That title goes to the $52 Million 1963 Ferrari 250GTO, one of only 39 ever made.
The 1956 Ferrari 290 Mille Miglia was auctioned at RM Sothebyâs and the winning bid was $28,000,000. Additionally, this 290 MM is one of the only 4 units ever built and this specific vehicle won the Mille Miglia race.
The 3.5-liter V12 engine produced 320 hp managed by a 4-speed transmission. The performance of this car by the standards of 1956 was blisteringly fast, and even for modern times, it has more power than many other cars ever dream of packing!
The body is made of tubular steel, has independent front suspension, hydraulic shocks, drum brakes.
Most likely the new owner will keep these legendary classics in the garage and treat it as an investment!
