To commemorate the semicentennial of the department responsible for high-end components, the 2022 Porsche 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design shows up, and only 750 are being produced by the firm. A 911 Targa 4 GTS is the foundation of the special edition automobile.

On the doors, there are Porsche Design insignia, and on the rear deck grille, there are a "50 Years Porsche Design" mark. These cars are equipped with center-locking 911 Turbo S wheels that are 20 inches in diameter in the front and 21 inches in the rear. The brake calipers are finished in a high-gloss black.
