Pininfarina Sold For 28 Million Dollars

Pininfarina has been founded 85 years ago and has worked with famous brands as Ferrari, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Fiat, and many others.
Its portfolio comprises almost 1000 car concepts. The famous Italian design studio now belongs to the Indian manufacturer Mahinda, which has bought it for 28 million dollars.
Mahindra now owes 76.06% of the total Pininfarina shares and chances are that it will express its intention of buying the rest 24% in the near future.
The Indian company has ensured the existing company creditors with 125 million dollars and it has announced that it will invest 20 million dollars in the design studio.
Mahindra is very happy with the acquisition since Pininfarina represents the leader among the existing design and engineering services.
