The Nissan performance range - NISMO continues to develop. After the NISMO 370Z's official presentation, Nissan confirmed today that even the sportiest model in their own range - the GT-R will benefit from such a radical version.
Even Carlos Ghosn, the head of Renault-Nissan, who announced the news in a press conference in Yokohama, Japan, where NISMO division establishes its headquarters from today, confirmed the future Nissan GT-R NISMO. "It would be unreal for us to develop a range of street models without including here the NISMO GT-R model.
The standard car is already very famous and the GT-R's performance reflects the passion and talent of the NISMO team. NISMO GT-R will be a very special car and I cannot wait to drive it," said Carlos Ghosn at the inauguration of the NISMO headquarters in Yokohama. The NISMO range of models offered by Nissan to Europe consists of a 200 horsepower Juke version.
The NISMO - 370Z model will be available for sale at the end of this year. Meanwhile, Nissan will go on with the gradual development of their performance line with other versions and models. Moreover, the Juke NISMO Plus version is a necessary project for the 2014 year.
Nissan has also announced that it will further develop experimental prototypes, with which they will participate at world endurance races. The 2014 year will bring a premiere in motorsport: Nissan will start as a guest at the 24 hours La Mans Race with an all-electric prototype.
