New Honda Amaze Is A Sportier, More Sophisticated Sedan Arriving In December
by AutoExpert | 11 November, 2024
Honda is preparing to introduce the third generation of the Amaze on December 4, showcasing a refined design and a touch of extra flair. From the teasers, we can spot a fresh front-end look, with a hexagonal grille, sleek LED headlights, and sportier bumper intakes.
The hood’s sharper lines give it a more dynamic presence, while the rear end is inspired by the Honda City, featuring bold taillights with a smoked finish.
Inside, the Honda Amaze is getting a modern makeover, too. Expect horizontal A/C vents and a standalone infotainment screen, likely a 10.25-inch unit from the Honda Elevate SUV. Along with the updated climate controls and steering wheel design, the cabin looks poised to offer a more sophisticated feel.
The new Honda Amaze is likely to maintain the same platform as the current generation, which debuted in 2018 and shares its foundation with the Honda City and Elevate. Power is expected to come from the same 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine with 89 hp, available with a five-speed manual or CVT gearbox.
There are also rumors of a CNG option, keeping up with the competition in the segment. All these upgrades position the Honda Amaze to establish a more premium presence in the subcompact sedan market. Stay tuned for its official debut on December 4!
