Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Ralliart Debuts Along With Other Intriguing Concepts
by AutoExpert | 12 January, 2022
We already know that the Vision Ralliart concept and the Outlander Ralliart Style will be Mitsubishi's main display at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon. However, Mitsubishi will have a third car on display at TAS: the smaller Eclipse Cross in the Ralliart Style spec.
It's all about sprucing things up with red highlights and a decal on the side. The Eclipse Cross sports mudflaps, a nod to the Lancer Evolution rally car's golden days. Mitsubishi has added a massive roof spoiler in black with a red underside to distinguish it from the basic crossover.
The TAS will also host a more daring version of the Mitsubishi Delica D:5, based on the minivan's makeover, which was announced in 2019. The harsh variant, which bears the "Tough x Tough" designation, features a raised suspension for more ground clearance.
It has black plastic fender flares with visible rivets and rides on 16-inch wheels with all-terrain tires wrapped around them. A front bull bar, rear bumper guard, and mud flaps have been added to the TAS-bound van to further enhance its all-terrain capability. The sleeping mat and rooftop tent complete the makeover, allowing the second and third rows of seats to be used as a flat bed.
The Minicab-MiEV B-Leisure Style and the K-EV concept X Style from Mitsubishi are both completely electric Kei vehicles. From January 14 to 16, 2022, all of these designs will be on display at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
