Mercedes-Benz might ally with BMW and Audi to develop new batteries.

And because Mercedes does not have the resources and experience necessary they will appeal to BMW and Audi! About this even announced the CEO of the Daimler Company Dieter Zetsche.

The new strategy and access of the technologies to its rivals could reduce the final costs not only for hybrid models from Mercedes but also for other producers so that the strategy of the German company to exclude as soon as possible in the series all the models equipped with diesel engines that could draw of success in the coming years.
