Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II Concept Is The Pinnacle Of Retro Coolness

Khyzyl Saleem's Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II Concept is the focus of today's story. In the 1990s, the Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II was one of the most sought-after performance cars, and Saleem has transformed it into a DTM-style touring car.
Due to the success of this two-door sports coupe, Mercedes-AMG went on to develop the C63 Sedan, which competes with the BMW M3.
There was an expressive rear wing in the initial design. Even though Saleem has kept the classic car's genetics, Mercedes-Benz 190E now has a race-car vibe thanks to a particularly muscular front bumper, a hood with a forceful design, and massive carbon fiber wheels with tight racing tires.
The rear end features a big diffuser and twin-exit center exhaust tips, as well as a conspicuous rear wing. A period-appropriate silver paint scheme and Petronas Green accents round out the outside look. The inside features a full roll cage as well as sophisticated racing bucket seats.
The original car had a 2.5-liter inline-four engine that produced 232 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque, but Saleem has not revealed any specs about the drivetrain of his Mercedes-Benz 190E. This resulted in a 6.7-second time from 0 to 60 mph and a max speed of 155 mph. If we're being honest, Saleem did a fantastic job.
