Meet The Rivian Roamer: A Bold New Vision For Off-Road Adventure

Rivian's R1T and R1S served as inspiration for Adita Narayan, who has previously worked with Ford and Pininfarina, to create a top-notch adventure vehicle.
Called the Rivian Roamer, this creation is similar in size to its cousins, the R1T and R1S, and is designed to tackle any challenging terrain!
When compared to the R1 models, the Roamer's aesthetic is very similar. The front end features Rivian's signature oval headlights, connected by a light bar made up of multiple small LEDs. Meanwhile, the lack of a conventional hood—made possible by the windshield's extension to the headlights—is another striking feature.
Additionally, the Roamer's sides feature the most intriguing design element. By sliding your feet into the five big cutouts on the rear doors and the hefty C-pillars, you can use them as a ladder. Meanwhile, the Roamer’s large rooftop tent and ladder make it perfect for camping adventures.
The back is also instantly recognizable as Rivian. However, on the R1 and R2 versions, the light bar now consists of hundreds of small LEDs. Absolutely, a vehicle like that from Rivian would be a game-changer for camping enthusiasts.
