Marlin Sports Cars Prepares A Rival For Ariel Atom & BAC Mono

The Avatar (not the Movie) is the racing division of Marlin Sports Cars and has announced a new rival for ultra-fast Atom and BAC Mono. The track car dubbed the Roadster might be unveiled at the Performance Car Show on January 14, 2016.
Avatar Roadster is powered by a 2-liter engine borrowed from Ford which will be coupled to a 5-speed transmission borrowed from Porsche Boxster and will send all those 252 horses to the rear-wheel for a 60 mph sprint of just 3.9 seconds. If you think that's not quite sufficient, the Roadster can optionally come with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost from Focus RS that can make 350 hp. This version will also feature 6-speed gearbox, six-piston brake calipers, race pads, semi-slick tires, and adjustable dampers. The body is made from lightweight materials and the chassis is a tubular spaceframe made by Marlin Sports Cars. Also, the company says they already got 4 orders that might be delivered sometime around May of 2016.
