There aren't many people out there familiar with this small British car manufacturer called Ginetta. However, the company wants to change that and make its debut into the world with a race car.
Ginetta has been producing ultra-light race cars and funded the Ginetta Junior Championship. Rumors say that it has also built the world's fastest LMP3.
The company now wants to present its latest creation - the G57 prototype. This event will happen in January and the London Autosport International seems like the perfect place to do it.
The car consists of a monocoque carbon fiber chassis, with a carbon crash box and roll cage steel (approved by FIA) body.
G57 runs on a 6.3 liters V8 LS3 engine, producing 580 hp, working with a six-phase sequential Xtrac gearbox.
The car also features an aerodynamic kit. All these details make G57 a very competitive racing car, which might raise worries in the already famous racing car brands.
