Lamborghini Urus will be produced in Slovakia!

Start of production is scheduled for the first Lamborghini SUV in 2017 and its assembly will be done at Volkswagen factory in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Urus will use a version of the MLB platform, the platform will also underpins the Group's other models as the future generation of the Porsche Cayenne.
And to get the production more efficient, the officials from VAG group chose the Urus to be assembled in the same factory in Bratislava where the platform brothers are produced: Porsche Cayenne, Volkswagen Touareg and Audi Q7. To prepare the factory in Bratislava increasing the production of SUVs, Volkswagen will install here one of the largest metal presses in the area capable of producing both steel body panels and aluminum. Another model Lamborghini LM002 was large site produced in 1990 only until 1993 and became a rare model today.
The Onset future of Urus is motivated by the SUV application performance and increasingly higher from the customers in China, Russia and Middle East. It is noting worth and that increasingly more manufacturers are up to the luxury segment, as Maserati will launch the Levante from the next year and it is conceivable to have a part soon of a Rolls-Royce SUV model.
