Korea Reveals The Redesigned 2023 Kia Ray, And It's A Looker
by AutoExpert | 11 August, 2022
A refreshed version of the Kia Ray has just been revealed in a set of official images. There's a good chance that the 2023 Kia Ray won't be sold anywhere but Korea. The Kia Ray debuted in 2011, and it will get a more substantial redesign in 2023 after a light refresh in 2017.
This minivan-like city car is based on the same platform as several other Hyundai and Kia vehicles, including the i10 and the Picanto.
The 2023 model's most noticeable change is its all-new front fascia, which has vertically mounted LED headlights and a concealed grille that now bears the brand's new logo. The front bumper now has a more streamlined design, with just one aperture and a skidplate made to seem like aluminum. The rear has undergone minimal alterations, with the newly designed tailgate connecting the new LED taillights.
The digital instrument cluster and the darkened trim components are the only notable differences between the old and new Ray's cabins. Regrettably, no new model specifications were included in the preview. It is anticipated that Kia will continue to sell the Ray in both ICE-powered and EV versions. Details on the 2023 Kia Ray will become available in the following weeks.
