Kimera K39 Is A Contemporary Homage To Classic Racing

The iconic Lancia 037 served as inspiration for Kimera Automobili's latest model, the K39. Specifically, last year's announcement of the Kimera K39 included a 1:5 scale prototype and a sketch, providing a preview of what was to come.
The company has finally revealed the finished exterior design, which is based on the legendary Silhouette racecar from the 1970s and 1980s that was a mainstay of the World Sportscar Championship.
The K39 maintains the quad-round LED headlights from the EVO37 and EVO38 restomods, but the bodywork has undergone a redesign. A triple Capristo exhaust system, a full-width LED taillight assembly, a large double-storey rear wing, and a diffuser inspired by motorsport are all part of the long tail's distinguishing features.
An enormous splitter and deep hood vents accentuate the model's prominent chin up front. The wheels have fashionable covers, and the fenders are noticeably broader. The K39's technical details are still a mystery, but we do know that it will have "an engine that will definitely make noise and will be heard throughout its climb" and that it will ride on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis.
This proves that the model is obviously not electric. Remember that the Kimera EVO38 has an all-wheel drive system borrowed from motorsport that distributes 600 horsepower (447 kW/608 PS) and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque to all four wheels.
In 2025, Kimera will also participate in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with the grand goal of demonstrating its performance capabilities. Kimera is going so far as to consider a road-legal conversion for an exclusive collector club. This one-of-a-kind production slot would grant you entry to a K39 that is both rare and exclusive. Who knows? Maybe the K39 can even hit the road.
