Introducing 'The Legend,' An Electric Version Of The Datsun 240Z

You know the brilliant mind behind the stunning Batmobile from "The Batman" movie in 2022? That's Ash Thorp, and he's at it again, this time with a coupe called "The Legend," designed in collaboration with Carlos Pecino, under the banner of Make Haste Corporation (MHC).
"The Legend" is a modernized take on the classic Datsun 240Z, and they're giving it an electric makeover.
While it still pays homage to the original 240Z with its roofline, the rest of the car has undergone quite the transformation. The rear, for instance, boasts a massive diffuser, and the sides sport beefy fender flares and stylish deep-dish wheels. Up front, you'll notice a distinctive hood bulge. Most of the bodywork is expected to be crafted from lightweight carbon fiber.
MHC, primarily a design firm, needed a partner to turn their vision into reality. That's where Street Bandito comes in. They're the folks who previously created a full carbon fiber 240Z. Interestingly, this project began with a 240Z chassis they found on a farm in Virginia. The cherry on top is that you'll get to see "The Legend" Legacy 240Z up close at SEMA 2023 in Las Vegas this November. It's bound to be a real showstopper!
