The Koreans continue the offensive with new models launched on the market! Both Kia and Hyundai are not only to blowing in the neck of major car manufacturers but actually surpassed them in some areas!
The new Hyundai Tucson is proof. With a very fresh design and the latest technology, the new Tucson has great chances to become a best-seller in the very near future. LED lights, chrome elements, huge wheels, dual exhaust, crossover elements, buffed wings, and a very modest interior though classic enough to guarantee success.
As for engines, the new Tucson can be equipped with one of the two versions of the 1.6-liter naturally aspirated producing 135 horsepower coupled to the manual transmission, or turbo-aspirated 176 horsepower coupled to the seven-speed automatic transmission with double clutch.
The diesel engine versions have two options represented by the 1.7-liter and 115 horsepower or a 2.0-liter engine that can generate 136 horsepower or 184 horsepower depending on your wishes and your wallet!
Customers will be provided with automatic headlights, navigation system, rearview camera, a touchscreen infotainment system and start/stop button. Other facilities are Smart Parking Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist System, Rear Traffic Cross Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Speed - Limit Information Function and Active Bonnet System that automatically raises the bonnet to ease the effects of a "collision" with a pedestrian! So the Koreans are picking on Volvo as well?!
