Hyundai is targeting a rival for the Toyota Prius?

If the images captured US spy photos come true, the Toyota Prius will have a new competitor in the Hybrid market. "Danger" comes from the Koreans this time who test a new prototype on the road overseas.
Hyundai wants to attract more customers into its showrooms and this needs new models. One of these would be the prototype spied by colleagues at wcf.com, which according to them, will be a hybrid. The new Toyota Prius is very strong, and so we would be surprised if they even get near as its closest competitor.
As the Hyundai car segment has already had experience with hybrid propulsion type, the new technology could be the big brother of the Sonata. Most likely that will be installed under the hood a 1.6-liter unit, assisted by an electric motor, and a summary would be below the 160-180 horsepower.
