Infiniti has released the first images of a new compact crossover ready to fight the German BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. The official presentation will take place at the Geneva Motor Show and the manufacturer declares that the new crossover is targeting VIP customers.
Infiniti QX 30 was released today, although the official launch will take place in March in Geneva. In the only available image, we can see that the car will have LED rear lights, massive bumpers, large exhausts and big wheels.
Although it will rival with Mercedes-Benz GLA, the Germans allowed them to use their MFA platform. As for engines, Infiniti QX30 will be equipped with four-cylinder engines, both petrol and diesel. The power goes to the front axle, but there is an option with all-wheel drive system!
Other technical details have not been disclosed but it is known that the new crossover will be assembled at the Sunderland plant in the UK.
