Ford is doing something awesome by auctioning the first 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for charity. This cool sports car will be up for grabs at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction on January 27.
The 2024 Mustang Dark Horse comes in Blue Ember Metallic and has cool features like Recaro sports seats, accent stripes, and handling and appearance packages. It's also got factory-fitted upgrades like a MagneRide suspension, a K-brace Torsen rear differential, and Pirelli Trofeo RS tires on staggered wheels.
Under the hood, there's a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine with 500 horsepower. The power goes to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual gearbox. Just so you know, the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse starts at $60,850, including destination and handling taxes.
The auction house, Barrett-Jackson, hasn't given an estimate for the sale price of the first 2024 Mustang Dark Horse, but last year, the first 2024 Mustang sold for $490,000 in the same event. Here's the cool part: Ford is donating the entire sale price to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), a charity working to prevent and treat type 1 diabetes. So, if you're eyeing this Mustang, not only do you get an awesome ride, but you also contribute to a good cause.
