The new Range Rover Sport concept will be unveiled on March 26, within an event that will take place in Manhattan, one day before the opening of the New York Auto Show. Meanwhile, the British manufacturer has published a blurry teaser photo, which, unfortunately, doesn't provide much of a clue to what the new model will look like.
There are rumors that the new Range Rover Sport concept will use the same aluminum platform called PLA, which debuted on the Range Rover model and will be produced at the factory based in Solihull, UK. Moreover, the new Range Rover Sport will be 300 kg lighter than the model it replaces. Those who have already seen the new model are saying that it has a much sportier silhouette and that it is clearly different from its older brother, the Range Rover model. The new RRS will be also available in a seven-seat version, which makes it a strong competitor for the Mercedes-Benz M-Class and for the future BMW X5.
