Faraday Future Unveils The 1,100 HP FFZERO1
by AllAutoExperts | 6 January, 2016
The FFZERO1 was unveiled at the 2016 CES and it took the world by surprise. As we have been reporting for some time already, Faraday Future is a startup company backed by Letv, a Chinese company worth tens of billions. Faraday Future is determined to revolutionize the EV industry and introduce very ambitious designs of future electric vehicles.
There were many startups that promised concepts and new vehicles and most of them failed to deliver. Faraday Future was believed to have set too high standards for itself and many thought that its ideas were too far-fetched to ever come to life.
Well, they proved everyone wrong when the $1 Billion company revealed their futuristic electric car concept at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show. Dubbed the FFZERO1, this is an AWD hypercar with 1,000 hp produces from 4 independent electric motors. The future driver would be seated in a central seat in the carbon fiber body.
The most innovative tech thing is that the hypercar needs your smartphone nested in your steering wheel. FFZERO1 has an inbuilt app that lets you configure things like traction, throttle, and other settings via your phone.
Richard Kim, head of design at Faraday Future, says that the hypercar will become an extension of your phone and its value will increase with time as it will adapt to your needs.
Unfortunately, a production hypercar for the masses is years away. We only hope nothing major stands in the future of Faraday Future.
